Hiring on behalf of our client, a civil/utility contractor with over 15 years of experience specializing in land preparation for vertical development. The company operates throughout Florida, providing services including access matting, access road construction, vegetation clearing, and post-construction restoration for powerline, utility, oil & gas, and infrastructure clients statewide. In this role, you will lead the planning, installation, and safe removal of access matting systems for civil construction sites. You will coordinate field crews and manage logistics to ensure safe, efficient site access across challenging terrain.

Qualifications: 

- 3+ years of supervisory experience in access matting, civil construction site logistics, or heavy equipment staging
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade schooling is a plus
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; strong safety mindset required
- Strong knowledge of mat types (timber, composite, rig/crane mats), connection systems, and load-bearing calculations
- Experience with Dura-Base or MegaDeck mats strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site coordinates, and terrain plans

Salary: $31 - $36/hour
